After Trump’s Cabinet leaked US war plans in a Signal chat, House Republicans tried to bury it—and Senate Democrats helped confirm one of the people responsible. It’s time for House Democrats to be the ones raising hell. They have the tools. They just need to use them.
The email to your Democratic representative:
Dear Representative,
The Trump administration’s Signal leak of US war plans on March 24 was a national security crisis. But instead of action, we saw Senate Democrats enable it—and House Republicans ignore it. Now we know it was even worse than we thought: There were two Signal chats, and one included Trump’s Defense Secretary casually sharing classified military strike details with his wife and brother. That’s beyond unacceptable.
We need you to step up. Even in the minority, Democrats can lead. I urge you to:
- Call on Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth to resign immediately for being reckless with classified information
- Hold shadow hearings with whistleblowers, legal scholars, and national security experts
- Introduce a resolution condemning the leak and calling for a freeze on State Department confirmations
- Use procedural motions to delay bad bills and force public debate
- File motions to subpoena Signal participants and invoke the seven-member rule to demand records
- Call out Senate Democrats who are still enabling this, including Chuck Schumer
We need loud, relentless, unapologetic resistance.
