MA Indivisibles Are Out Knocking Doors!
Indivisibles from groups across the state were out in force last weekend talking to voters about electing Harris & Walz as well as down-ballot candidates!
Greylock Together members were in upstate NY where Indivisibles are also working to elect Josh Riley to flip the NY-19 congressional seat, one of the "Unrepresentative" districts that Biden carried in 2020, back to blue.
Indivisibles from Concord and Acton travelled to PA to support the Harris/Walz ticket, while Indivisibles from Lexington joined a large group of MA volunteers talking to voters in Nashua, NH.

The most effective way to bring out the vote is talking face-to-face. If you can travel to another state, the time to go is NOW! This election will be won or lost by what we do between now and November 5.

Earlier this month, Progressive Mass hosted an Info Session with speakers who discussed all five ballot questions and responded to participants’ comments and concerns. Watch the video HERE.
The MA Secretary of State also released its Information for Voters on 2024 Ballot Questions. You may have received a copy in the mail or can read it online HERE.
The Center for State Policy Analysis at Tufts also produced a Voter’s Guide for the MA Ballot Questions, which is available online HERE.

Springfield
Many of us found Trump's wailing in the debate about pets in Springfield, Ohio, ridiculous or amusing.
And many of us enjoyed or shared the creative memes ridiculing Trump's feigned concern.
But, while it was the first time many of us heard this accusation, those on the far right have been pushing the lie since early August. Trump taking it into the national discourse has two dangerous consequences.
The first is the chaos and fear it has brought to the residents of Springfield, Ohio, who are now suffering daily bomb threats to schools and public places. Neo-Nazis like the Blood Tribe or Patriot Front (whom we have written about here in MA), who started these racist lies, have been validated by the former president and other sitting Republican elected officials.
The second consequence is the othering of a group of immigrants - even the legal immigrants in Springfield - and appeals to the fear and anger of white voters, harming the re-election chances of Democratic Senators like Sherrod Brown. By casting immigrants as sub-human, Trump prepares the public for the "deportation of millions" that he has promised. Meanwhile, Republicans are pouring money into states like Ohio to flip a Senate seat and regain control of the Senate.

The 40 Days for Life events target women's healthcare clinics across the country. Religious extremists hold daily prayer vigils to shame and intimidate patients and staff. This year we are asking everyone to stand with Four Women Health Service in Attleboro where the religious extremists station themselves most days of the year but are particularly belligerent during 40 Days. In June, Republican Senators defeated the Right to Contraception Act - a simple bill that would have protected the right to basic birth control. Since then, a petition is being circulated in the House that would force the Republican majority to bring the bill to a vote in the House. Ask your Representative to sign the petition HERE.

Investigate Governor DeSantis
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is employing disturbing and authoritarian tactics to intimidate pro-choice voters who oppose Florida's harsh six week abortion ban. Florida's 'election police' have been questioning voters who a signed ballot petition to put the right to abortion in the state constitution. This is voter intimidation and undemocratic. Voters in Florida should be able to participate in the democratic process without fear of harassment. Demand federal authorities investigate HERE.

Prosecute Trump Campaign for Assault at Arlington
A Trump campaign staffer assaulted an employee who tried to stop the filming of a campaign ad in Arlington cemetery. They must be prosecuted for breaking the law which clearly states that filming must not be used for "partisan, political or fundraising purposes." Sign HERE.

Impeach Justices Alito and Thomas
Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez filed articles of impeachment in July against Justices Alito and Thomas. Both have been implicated in many ethical controversies.
