Stop the Next #TrumpShutdown
For 35 days, Donald Trump and Mitch McConnell held 800,000 federal workers hostage because of a hateful campaign promise to build a wall. And for 35 days, federal workers struggled to make ends meet, all in the name of appeasing far right Fox News personalities and solving a fake “crisis.”
It finally ended when Trump caved, but this work is far from over. We need to defeat Trump's border wall once and for all. And it's critical to keep pressuring our MoCs to fund the government with no new funding for Trump’s wall, ICE, or CBP.
Our staff and Indivisibles on the ground are working around the clock to turn up the heat on Congress and show a massive organizing effort to prevent a future shutdown or any bad deals on Trump’s wall.
