Clergy Against ICE - Albue

Albuquerque, NM
123 Main Street
Albuqerque, NM 87101
When: Sunday, October 5, 2:00 PM

Interfaith Clergy across the US are organizing marches and rallies to protest the administration’s cruel and inhumane ICE policies. This wave of marches will take place on each of the 4 Sundays in October, and move from the west, to the east.

The goal is to put an end to Trump’s ICE and deportation policies. This will be achieved by gaining coverage of the policies’ cruelty, in global, national and local media, including the construction of the concentration camps and the dollars allocated in the recently passed budget bill.

Open Participation: All individuals are welcome to participate, with a special invitation extended to people of faith from diverse religious and spiritual backgrounds.

Clergy Leadership: The visible leadership of each event will be comprised of clergy and religious leaders. This approach aims to leverage their moral authority and media visibility to draw national attention to the cause.

Faith Garments and Symbols: Clergy and faith leaders are encouraged to wear recognizable symbols or attire representing their religious office or tradition during the marches to clearly identify their leadership roles.
