At this unimaginable time in our nation’s history, it is imperative we stay informed, engaged, and aligned. We see what is happening in Minneapolis and now Maine, and wonder what may happen in our own communities.
Worcester County Indivisible Alliance (WCIA) is proud to announce a presentation by the Executive Director of Worcester’s Refugee and Immigrant Assistance Center (RIAC), Meg Gallo. Meg will discuss immigration in general, and how the recent changes to our nation’s immigration policies will affect vulnerable communities around the globe, and America as a whole.
In order to support our vulnerable communities, please consider bringing a non-perishable food item to the presentation for our local food pantry, or a financial donation to Worcester County Food Bank, which provides food assistance throughout Worcester County.
Come hear the truth on February 21st while supporting our communities. Come meet our welcoming WCIA members, ask questions to our immigration expert, and sign our letters to our political leaders regarding the brutality we are all witnessing.
This isn’t America, but Americans can make a difference.
